For our second project, how about a cute eyeglass case to keep those spectacles safe?
If you're lucky enough not to wear glasses, stitch one up for a friend! These were made by our very own Arrow folks, but there are tons of free patterns on the internet if you need one!
Now, The Rules:
1. Pick out some cute fabric (it can be recycled from something too), and take a picture of it before you cut it up.
2. Stitch up your eyeglass case. Remember to put your own spin on it - we love creativity and color!
3. Take a picture of your finished project and email BOTH photos (fabric and finished project) along with your full name and address to rebecca@arrowcabinets.com by Friday, August 23rd at 5 pm Eastern time.
4. The projects will be voted on by Arrow staff, and the winner will be announced here on the blog on Wednesday, August 28th.
Creativity counts!! Please make sure you follow all of the rules! If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at Rebecca@arrowcabinets.com.
We'll be sending the winner one of our awesome Kangaroo Kabinets rolling totes as seen below:
Good luck everyone!
Oh my goodness. I need one of those rolling totes really bad. Sounds like I need to make a fun project for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like fun. I just am not sure about this fabric stash you speak of whether I have a thing like that. HAHAHA

ReplyDeleteGood luck to everyone!! I've got a tote...so I won't be entering...but have fun!!
ReplyDeleteI will not be entering because I don't need the tote. But I may make an eyeglass case anyway. :-)

This looks like fun!! first I have to narrow down the patterns. Then pick out awesome fabric, that always takes me the longest LOL
ReplyDeleteSame here Passion4Quilting, but I helped my friend's, 11 year old granddaughter, who is visiting for a week, make one and enter it! What fun!
ReplyDeleteFabric picked out! Now the sewing begins!
ReplyDeleteThis was fun, my pile was sky high when I started and then I narrowed it down to just a few fabrics to use. I can't wait till the next little project. And I'm thinking the pillow cases need to be mailed by the 29th to be received by September 6th
