Hospital in Madison, WI with Madison Chapter coordinator Joleen Adkins to sew with the kids and help deliver pillowcases. They so enjoyed seeing the smiles that a fun and cheerful pillowcase can bring!
Right now, the Madison Chapter is in need of holiday/winter-themed pillowcases for the kids, along with fun pillowcases that would be suitable for boys. In order to help them out, we're sponsoring a little contest! If you send us a holiday/winter-themed pillowcase AND a boy-themed pillowcase, you'll be entered to win one of three Gidget Sewing Tables. That's right, we'll be picking three random winners from all of the pillowcase entries that we receive. We'll need to receive the cases by Dec. 14th so that we can deliver them to the Madison Chapter in time for the holidays. Check out the rules below and let's make those kids smile!
The Rules (please read carefully):
1. Make one holiday/winter-themed pillowcase and one boy-appropriate pillowcase following the guidelines posted here on the ConKerr Cancer website: http://conkerrcancer.org/pillowdirections.html The Madison Chapter would love sports-related cases for the boys, especially Badgers or Packers ones! Remember, these are for kids, so they should be bright and cheery!
2. Wash your cases, seal them in a ziploc bag, and mail them to us at:

3. Cases need to be received by Friday, Dec. 14th to be eligible.
4. We will select three random winners from the eligible entries to receive a Gidget Sewing table!
If you can swing it, we'd love to get some pictures of you with your finished pillowcases to post on our Facebook page ( this is not a requirement for entering). Please feel free to share this contest with all of your sewing friends, we'd love to have to rent a truck to deliver these!
