NSM Challenge #4 - Falling For Fall!

Fall arrived during National Sewing Month, so it's only appropriate that our last sewing challenge for the month is fall-related!  Start thinking of falling leaves, ripening pumpkins, and warm apple cider for inspiration, then sew up something that signifies "Fall" for you!  If you need some visual inspiration, how about these wonderful "fall-ish" projects from Sew News:
A cute treat bag
Festive Fall placemats

Aren't they adorable?  Check out for info on those project how-to's, but make sure you come up with your own original idea for this contest.
Now the important stuff - The Rules:

1. Make a fall-inspired sewing project. It MUST be a new item made specifically for this contest.

2. Take a picture of your finished project and email the photo to by Friday, October 5th at 5 pm Eastern time.

3. The projects will be voted on by Arrow staff, and the winner will be announced here on the blog on Monday, Oct .8th.

The winner will receive a Mighty Bright Light and a cute tote bag!

Creativity counts!! Don't be afraid to go for it!  For a little added incentive, everyone that submitted entries for all of our challenges during the month will be entered into a drawing for a Suzi storage cabinet (accessories not included)! Woohoo!

Good luck everyone! Get to work on those entries!
