Olivia checking in! Guess what?!? Since you all have left such nice comments on my blog posts, Arrow has asked me to be a regular blogger! Yippee! I’m tickled green! I can’t wait to get started, but I wanted to get some ideas from all of you before I jump right in. What would you all like to read about/see/talk about here on the Arrow blog? Of course, I love to talk about sewing, so that will definitely be one of our topics. I’d love to hear your suggestions – should we do a project every once in a while? Would you like to learn about some of my other sister cabinets? Honestly,I think Pixie is a wee bit jealous of my new gig!
Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts, and ask your friends to pop on by with their ideas too! FYI, I am still going to have to sneak on when Ms. Owner isn’t around. I’m afraid if she finds out about my computer skills she’ll make me do crazy things - like e-file her taxes and update her Facebook status!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteAll of the above and, lessons from different software available out there, rate different machines, I personably do not know what a serger does or doesn't do. Different weights of threads, and thier seperate uses. Also tailoring lessons, I could go on and on, but there is not enough room. Thank you, Cindy
Olivia- I'd love to hear from your sisters. I'm thinking Pixie is a wee bit younger, though so you might have to help her with spelling....
ReplyDeleteyes, definately projects!
ReplyDeleteOlivia,
ReplyDeleteWe have a granddaughter named after you! She is almost 4 months old. I can only hope she grows up to be as well known and great as you are!!!
I just started sewing as a form of therapy to cope with PTSD. I think featuring projects is a perfect idea. I love your blog! <3
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Olivia, introduce us to your sisters. Perhaps you can interview prize winners - how will they utilize their prize? I have a 1950's Singer "Rocketeer" Slant-o-matic sewing machine and love to learn more about vintage machines.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure what ever you tell us about will be very interesting.
There is so much I need to learn about sewing. Looking forward to hearing from you olivia!
ReplyDeleteI would love to hear about the rest of your family
ReplyDeleteI would love to do projects with you! And I would also love to learn about better strategies for organizing my craft space.
ReplyDeleteprojects are always welcome..especially with printable instructions!
ReplyDeleteI think you are very beautiful Olivia and I certainly would like to discuss all types of sewing...so much to learn so little time...
ReplyDeleteCould not get it to post any other way....lol.. Teri Nelson wrote: I think it would be good to have her take us on an adventure from all of the trade/quilt shows... and now from "las vegas" ect... she could let us have a sneak peak of what is new at the shows.... all of us do not get the opportunity to travel to the shows and she does...and then we could see what was up and coming... who what doing what...
ReplyDeleteeasy and fast and recycled projects, would be fun!!
